Just asking out of academic curiosity as I find 'Karma' in the context of the forums a bit of a mystery!
... I was wondering what people are actually saying or what they mean when they increase or decrease someones 'Karma'

When I have increased a persons Karma I would like to think I'm saying "at the time I found your information VERY useful" ... Increasing their Karma is ONE of my ways of saying (albeit anomalously) "thanks"

... and myself having received 'negative' Karma I'm also...

We're celebrating Halloween with a couple new looks. We set the default to "Halloween" which is a scary graveyard style and there is another called "Runaway" for you Zombie fans. But if you're not a fan of the Halloween look you can change it like this.

Click the word "Halloween" on the bottom left corner of the screen here:

A popup box will open with the available styles. Select "Default" to return to the original style or try one of the other styles.

iPhone and forums for dummies

So I'm the dummy and need some help. The biggest thing I haven't been able to figure out is how to repost something like say a YouTube video. There is a button to click for sharing but it doesn't give me any codes like on my pc just options to favorite it or tweet it. I'm stuck doing all my interwebing from my phone now and need some help to say the least.

OK, so this will be a VERY short tutorial on posting links from Photobucket.com

1.Get a Photobucket.com account - its free
2. Upload your photos to this account
3. Once your photos are uploaded, hover your mouse over the pic you want to link to and click in the IMG Code window (see pic)

For items posted that have sold or are no longer wanted: should the obsolete postings be deleted? and, Who should delete them? Is there an expiration date where they go away automatically?

I've noticed that if I don't log in I can's see the pictures that I've posted here.
However, links and pictures hosted on photo bucket are displayed.

Is this a designed feature to get guests to register or is this some unintended consequence?

As it stands, guests get to read the words, link to external sites and see photos hosted elsewhere, but aren't allowed to see the photos hosted here?

I noticed that the Roguebots club meetings are on the calendar.
Is there a chance that robotics will become a topic here on SORC?

I saw an interesting show last night where a guy converted electric wheelchairs and golf carts into some interesting vehicles. Although they weren't remote controlled, it did get me thinking of the possibilities.

Teh WYSIWYG editor is missing the YouTube button (YouTube TAG creator) I tried to enter the TAGS manually but this also don't work like expected
