A NEW Catagory for the AIRCRAFT Forums ???

[size=1.35em]GPS and ANY who would support the idea: Looking for VOTES ??

[/size]This posting HERE had me thinking we NEED a NEW section for ALL (what I call) the ODDBALL aircraft that coming out the experimental and research fields, (new and retro) Also NOT forgetting what's coming out of the NEWS and Media sources these days. Basically looking for a FORUM for ALL the aircraft that are not easy to categories, for aircraft that don't FIT any conventional description of an Aircraft. Much like the Aircraft shown in the previous link.

{IMO} In the "Aircraft" section of the forums we need one more NEW forum (category) which should or can read like the following for example.
The suggested addition is highlighted in RED

• Airplanes
      RC airplanes,  Electric and nitro

• Float and Sea Planes
      Post about aircraft that go on or in water here

• Helicopters
      Helicopters,  Electric and nitro.

• Multirotor
      Multirotor aircraft such as Quadrotor, Hexarotor and Octarotor

• AP/FPV
    Aerial Photography and First Person View

• Miscellaneous Rc Aircraft
    Gyro-Copters, Tilt-Rotor Aircraft, Space Shuttle, Experimental and/or
    any aircraft that don't quite fit in any of the above categories

I'm ready if you and any others want a new board.  Do you, or does anyone else, have something to put in there now, or will it be empty initially?  Will it have a one time use or ongoing use?

Nope I don't and yes I didn't think of that ... I too can't see anyone having anything they personally own they could put in there. Agreed forget it {LOL} "get rust" works for me ....  ;D

I wouldn't say "Get Rust", I thought you had a project, or past project, that fit in the new category.  I was looking forward to seeing your Space Shuttle.

Although I did have me a Space Shuttle way back but that was only a plastic model kit 

Then I change my vote back to yes ...

We can add it, but is the gyrocopter going to be the only post in there?  Are there any other projects from folks that will populate the forum?  We can also move threads into forums later if there starts to be several projects that fit into a new category.

Well I do think there's not going to be much action in there ...
... but if we think of the new cat. as advertising a lurker out in the world may see it and say to himself "I'll post my whats-it there, looks like a good place as any"

Yup, speculation (and that's probably not the best word) at best but if we only get one that's ONE we didn't have before

PS: I wasn't happy with they way I worded it so if you do decide to add the new cat. please change it or word it better than I did. I was coming up short on example aircraft ... Thanks
