Any local rc plane guys in GP? Ive been trying to find a good spot to fly local. Know of anything? I have a 40 size electric.
i know there are a bunch of local flyers that get together on sundays i think at redwood elementry school!

Welcome to the forums Mikef. You can also check out the calendar to see the scheduled events. Like Golden Child already said Sundays a great group pf guys meet at the Redwood school in Grants Pass. There is a Google map link on the calendar if you don't know where it is.
This Sunday a few of us that are members of the Rogue Valley Flyers will be out at the GP Airport in Merlin for some test flying for our upcoming airshow next month (see the events calandar). We'll be at the airport for only an hour, from 10am-11am. I'll be at Redwood for a while before and after the airport trip. Hope to see you out there!
Yes, we need to get our borders defined as well as where to set up certain aspects of the show for best spectator enjoyment. Obviously though if it's raining, like it is now, we will not be flying
I'm here at Redwood for another half hour or so. Very light sprinkles off and on. Been flying since 7:30 no problems
