Well here's just a couple pics from the last few days of building a new wraith, it will literally be all aftermarket when done, the ONLY stock wraith piece on it will be the shock pistons, everything else will be aluminum, steel or titanium.  No plastic junk here.

Well I'm bad about updating so it's done and here is the results.

Chassis custom built by FrenchBlue72 (Luke)  Custom Axial links, G-made transition shocks.

Axles= vanquish hi-steer knuckles, axial C-hubs, Axial HD gears, custom high steer links, STRC aluminum suspension mounts, axial 70* steer u-joints, poison spyder diff covers, vanquish HD bearing carrier, Highland crawler center carrier.

Drivetrain= RC4WD 2-speed transmission, Tekin SCX 7.4 sensored brushless motor, MIP Ultra CCVD driveshafts, Castle MMP potted speed control, 3S 5000 batts, Hitec 7950TH steering servo.

Add-ons= RC4WD bulldog winch with MRC speed control running 3S, Castle CBEC 20amp running steering and winch duties, custom painted JK wraith body (Big thanks to Sean *JesusFreak*)  Mayhem engineering wheels, cut Ripsaw G35 tires.

If I missed anything I'm sorry  :p  Got to take it out yesterday and flogged the heck out of it, this is the most stable crawler I have seen, This thing jumps like a truggy!!  Yes it jumps!  Very well balanced rig and just takes a beating, had a few issues but none that I really didn't expect for a complete custom build.

Winch was bought from RC4WD, I built the winch controller though since the one they come with is junk.  Servo's made into winches are junk in my opinion since the horn will snap off before they can actually pull anything.

nice job on cutting the tires BTW-did you use a "tire groover"...I have an Ideal brand,I used to put an edge on my dirtbike tires, when I'm on a budget.

Well I dont really have any spare "upgrade" parts so to speak.  Only have most of a stock wraith sitting in a tub in the corner.  As for cutting the tires I use scissors and cut every other lug out since we wheel in mostly mud.

The wraith I started with was an RTR not a kit.  I played with it for about 5 minutes then proceeded to tear it apart  8)
