The track has water! No racing for me today, just slaving for a place to race!

cool, i had to work today.  i'll be over there tomorrow to put in some work too.

is this track only for racing? is it open other days to the public?

I cant quite speak for them. But no not yet there is some set up still. But im sure next week will be a different story. Again though dont take my word for it. I stoped by today and did a few laps. Man is it legit. Heres a panoramic veiw. Adam is to the right sweeping a bit. I used him as a scale reference for this monster of a track.. u may have to scroll sidways to veiw the whole thing.

Adam wants to have a store there also.  I don't know if it's open to the public when they are not racing but I presume he wil be.

Adam want's a store but it will be a few months down the road.  The track will be open from 12-6 tuesday through saturday and 11-4 on Sundays.  Track time will be $3 per hour or $10 all day for open track.  Racing schedule will be made after the opener.

looks sweet,what about handicap access

Unfortunately that was cost prohibitive.  The stairs and drivers stand were already in place when we took possession of the building.  If there had been nothing there then we would have built a shallow ramp for wheelchair access.  This place is honestly so old that the front door is only a 24" door! lol  Adam has trouble getting through it, but again we don't own it and the owner because of not having to won't change it.

I don't normally like laughing at this kind of thing, but Adam is a great (big) guy, so I feel okay laughing about it.

Aslo sinn those prices seems pretty cheap. Id pay more if it helped get the shop going faster.

Hope we can get a mid week series goin, cuz most people with a normal job 8-5, won't be able to make it in to practice during the week. I plan on being there every week, during the week, but 6pm isn't gonna make it work for me. Hope we can work something out....Look foward to racing this sunday!

Racing from the sounds of it will be held wednesdays.  We will go until all rounds are done.

Sweet! Once I move up there, I will need something to do during the week... haha. I'm bring up my truggy, so we can test it out this wkd. Hope it makes it around the track ok. From the sound of it, we mite have enough local etruggys to make their own class!

I much prefer weekend racing. I work a retail job until 6:00 M-F and would likely not be able to eat dinner and get any racing done on a weeknight.

I'm sure they would be holding wkd races as well. Actually I would bet money on it. Haha. I was just hoping they would stay open late one nite during the wk, so we could race more often. I'm sure if they get enough ppl that will show up, they will do their best to make the races happen when its best for everyone. Hard to turn down payin customers.
