    Thanks for posting the photo.

Is it a wood or steel framed building?  Is that a all dirt, or partial concrete floor?

It's wood framing with metal roof and siding. The floor is mostly gravel except that one section on concrete that runs the length of the building. It has two big sliding doors at each end of the building so in the summer time hopefully it will get a little air blowing through there.

Thanks.  Is the track going to be gravel, or are they planning to bring in dirt?

The gravel will be taken out. He is paying for dirt/clay to be brought in.

Steve a little of topic but when do you guys usually start racing over there? Obviously weather plays a big part but April-May?

If Adam is buying the shop from Nathan will he keep the Sleadd's name?  I mean "Sleadd's Adventure Depot" doesn't exactly bring RC to mind.  Or at least "Bartl's Adventure Depot".

Wow, forgive my tardiness to this post (I don't know why I never saw it) but this is excellent news. Like, beyond excellent news. I really, really, really want this to work out. Indoor off-road has been a fantasy of mine for quite some time.

Here's to hoping it all pans out for a spring/summer season opening!

Adam is the next work party really going to be on Friday March 8th? Hoping you we're talking about Saturday March 9th. If Friday works better for you that's understandable, I just wanted to verify the date. I work Monday-Friday.

The "plan" for the dirt will be a mix of clay/sand/topsoil in that order similar to what we have in J-ville.  The tire of choice has been an M4 Caliber with AKA foams.  Hope this helps.

Believe me were are all hoping!  This track will be large enough to sustain 1/8th scale racing and still be friendly to the 1/10th crowd so that all classes can have a track even in poor weather.
