Bringing up an old discussion only because I realized that people really do this. I even remember quoting this once before and saying what a horrible idea it is, but then I came across a blog post from A Main Hobbies talking about how they just sugared their off-road track to get ready for the IFMAR Worlds. I'm not suggesting we do it, I'm just amazed that it's a real thing.

I am looking for some info on setup for new sc10 for the track at grants pass. Tires, shock oil, spring package? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Tires: hole shots or clayish tires that have small pins, super soft compound. A soft setup on shocks works best. 25wt with a medium piston would be a good starting point. Start soft to medium on the springs. It's a great track but its still bumpy, plus a soft setup will keep you from annoying crashes on the whoop section and the last double single.

Good racing this weekend guys. I had to sit this one out, but had fun as a corner marshall. And thanks to chad and caleb for the lunsford shirt, I really appreciate it. Learned some tips for fliping nitros back on their wheels so hopefully next time a wreck wont cost any time loss. Though I dont mind the burns... lol

Has the track been redesigned/modified yet? Are we going to be racing this coming weekend 8/4 ?
