Thank you both, and Dittos!! Probably not going to have my Slash fixed by next weekend, but I've got others to run in the meantime. These cars really do cost quite a bit more than my planes! Even a catastrophic nose-in with the plane is only a couple hours of glueing and taping, maybe a prop now and then.  I bought all stock replacement parts for the Slash and it came to just over $60 (for a handful of plastic!)   Really wanted to go with aluminum or RPM parts, but couldn't justify it this time around :(

For the Traxxas stuff I've found their plastic to be more brittle but stiffer that the RPM parts.  I've gone with RPM on a lot of my cars, especially with "A" arms, but if real racing performance is what you are looking for instead of bashing surviveability I think the original factory plastic parts from Traxxas and Team Associated are the way to go.

Thanks for that insight GPS. A little frustrated at the cost of just a few parts. But, I'll get it fixed and have it ready another day :)

Yeah, had lots of overtime at work the past few weeks, so I bought-up lots of RC stuff to take to the swap meet. Came out ahead of the game when all is said and done, still have way too many cars (lol). Going to sort through what I have and keep the best two or three, and sell what remains. I did get another heli - a Blade MSR. Good for indoor flights - woohoo ;D

Only able to sell one of my cars at the swap meet. Sadly, it was my favorite - 1/16 E-Revo VXL :( Going to sell most of the others as well when I can. Found lots of great deals when buying them, but I'm still a plane man! Going to keep one basher for myself and one for my son, and get off my keister and build my 1/5 scale sand monster! And that will probably do it for me as far as cars go. So stay tuned for GREAT deals in the For Sale section!!!

Yeah, I think after the heli is done I would like to get into something that will work on the dunes. Something kinda big, gas powered and fast. With FPV too :)

(LOL)...If it is electric, you may get away w/ more, and there is less to pack, from your car,SAVING A FREE HAND FOR THE LAWN CHAIR  ;)=that's how I roll 8)

I don't see a crawler in there or a on-road car.  Looks like you need to diversify.

I took these pics at our last outting at Harbeck before you guys all showed up. Left the crawler at home on the charger, and took the pics before I bought the MP5 and Strike from you guys! But yes, I need to diversify - MORE planes ;D

You have a lot of planes and it's too cold to hold those sticks for very long in Oregon this time of year.

I still think you need a crawler and a 1/10 scale on-road, that is after you get your Kyosho 1/8 setup for on-road.

I kind of liked the indoor crawler "foam mountains" that we saw at Sleadd's.  Rig up a somewhat larger setup on a couple sheets of plywood and make them lift up to the ceiling in the house or garage with some pulleys....Hmmmmm....
