I am selling it all and starting over. I have over $1000 into just my Scorpion Y650 multicopter, and I am selling the entire lot for $1000. That's, the Scorpion, more than 20 airplanes, at least 4 radios, 20 receivers, countless servos, motors, esc's, two nitro engines, parts, etc. I am in the process of pulling it all out to get pics so stay tuned. or better yet, give me a buzz. Right now I am only interested in selling it all as one lot. If I don't get any serious buyers then I'll consider breaking it up and selling individual items. Thanks for looking, Mike. email: gpcl@live.com cell: 541-218-0512 PICS COMING SOON!
Yes, getting rid of everything I have other than my Super Cub to keep as a park flyer, and my 1/4 scale Cub. I have come to the realization that if I don't, I won't ever actually make the move to large scale like I want to.
No photos yet, but Rick Barnett (High-Dollar Rick from Sunday flying @ Redwood School) has a beast of an air tug (a plane used for towing gliders up). If memory serves me right, it has an eleven foot wingspan, a DA-160 gas engine (huge), seriously high-torque servos, flaps, etc. He says it will do 3D (hover, knife-edge,etc.), and knowing Rick I don't doubt it a bit He is supposed to be getting it cleaned up and RTF for me to try out this coming Friday of Saturday depending on how our schedules mesh. No set dollar figure yet as he wanted to double check everything that was in it and make sure it was still airworthy. I'll know for sure by next weekend
We're going to test it either at Kerby or possibly Bob's airfield where they fly their ultralights out of. Wherever we test it I'll still be able to fly it at Kerby. Other pilots think Kerby is tight coming in from the right side but I really don't have a problem with it.
Good luck with your test flight. I hope it works out for you. I remember hearing Art and a couple guys saying that about landing from the right side of the airstrip.
