I have seen a lot of videos and such of people flying their electric helicopters, quads, and planes inside places that usually appear to be a school gymnasium. I'd like to set something up similar, up here in Roseburg. Can anyone give me any information about how best to approach and plan such a gathering. I do have event planning, public and business relations, and marketing experience. I used to plan and run or help run Disc Golf tournaments all over Oregon with a non-profit called Disc Golf Oregon. Any guidance would be appreciated. I just want someone to play with, lol -Derek, Next Level RC
Actually there used to be a indoor flying group in Roseburg. I had been to the hobby shop up there a few times before it burned down and they told me about it. I think it is/was held at the YMCA so you might go and ask around there. BTW, there is another member here called "Smitty" who used to organize some really great swap meets in Roseburg but he hasn't been very active for a while. He was pretty well connected up there.
