revo 3.3 rebuild

    so i picked up a revo 3.3 today.thanks goldenchild!i'm going to do a complete rebuild on this truck and i'm excited ;D.i will soon post before and after pic's.woohoo ;D ;D ;D ;D

    so i started on this revo rebuild today starting with the engine.not looking good.i tore the engine down,to find that the piston rod completely split in half down the middle destroying the piston and sleeve also. :( :'(.does anybody have a trx 3.3 they would like to part with?

    What??????  I had that little bastard running not more than two months ago. I will see if I have an extra piston/ sleeve set laying around I will give you. I'm sorry, I hadn't touched it since last time I had it out and it seemed fine. Put up pics!  I've never seen one fail like that.

    How about the Hyper .21 from your old Ofna?! I'm definitely going to do a EP conversion so I don't have a need for it. I am coming to Medford this Saturday and could drop it off for you to remove and come by later to pick up the car. No cost - its yours if you want it.

    Hey JROCK2.0, Great job on the rebuild.  May I ask what you used to clean all the parts?  Did you use the same stuff to clean the aluminum as the plastic parts?

    i use simple green to clean my parts.to get them looking new again,i use a little wd-40 and a paint brush.this has been a highly affective method.
