Just realized that February is "ANY FOOTLONG $5" at Subway.
So we'll be taking orders and making a Subway run about noon.


Also, don't forget to bring an electric vehicle to run on the "Over-the-Hill Raceway".
Nothing organized, just a fun bash session.
Remember, all drivers must register first to get a track pass.
If your under 18, you'll need a parent with you.

I've just learned about another big swap meet in Monroe, scheduled on the same day.
Too bad those guys didn't check the SouthernOregonRC.com event calendar. LOL  ;D

Smitty - Do you have a small switch with four Ethernet ports to connect the video camera?

No switch with ethernet, sorry.
Just my dell laptop.


I do have a Linksys WRT150n in my misc. PC parts box. would that work?

WOW! what an amazing day.
I want to thank all of the participants in today swap meet.
We had about 10 sellers who reserved tables and a couple more drop ins.


Without a doubt, the hours between 10:00 am and Noon were the most active.


By 11:30 we had raffled off a table full of free stuff that was donated by the sellers.


At noon we made a run on Subway for the Febu-any $5 subs.


By 1:00 pm many sellers were packing it in. That's when the real bargains happened. It was like a feeding frenzy of RC parts. Indescribable!

My wife, son and myself had a great time today at your swap meet. Everyone there was very friendly and got some great deals and a few guys gave me a few things for free too...
I didn't catch this guys name, but him and I think his daughter were playing with some trucks on the Track and let my 3 year old son play with one of the trucks....that was so nice of him...My son loved it.
I would definetly come to another show again.

Hey Smitty,

Thank you again for putting on such a great swap meet  Lucita and I both had a great time.

I was very impressed with the amount of people that came out.  Definitely a increase in numbers from your first swap meet which was already great.  If more people keep coming out you are going to need a bigger venue.

It was also great to see some familiar faces from the first swap meet and catch up with you all.

I look forward to the next swap meet and seeing you all again soon.

Welcome to Southern Oregon RC Mike and family!  Glad you enjoyed the swap meet.  Smitty does a terrific job putting it on and I hope he will organize another one soon.
