    @blt4speed - You should read this thread:

    http://southernoregonrc.com/index.php?topic=1277.0

    You would find out that when calendar event posts are added properly, there will also be a event thread for you to home in on and post your photos to afterwards.  Besides all the previously mentioned benefits your race photos will be organized by the race event and date.

    How cool is that?

    LOL, Tarot Apps is a pretty good analogy ...

    ... As nexus suggests it's not really such a mystery as all jPEG's out of anyone's Camera will have (well most all, as we
    can strip away this info) information tagged to them in the form of 'EXIF data'

    There are many ways we can view (and EDIT) this information but one of the easiest is by using an On-Line EXIF Reader ...
    ... To read, enter the pictures location or URL into the 'Image URL' box and hit enter at the following URL. If the EXIF data
    is present this will for the most part show all the settings along with the Camera's make and model numbers ...

    e.g. click
    ---> http://regex.info/exif.cgi?imgurl=http%3A%2F%2Fimg607.imageshack.us%2Fimg607%2F7986%2Fimg2395x.jpg

          'Scroll Down' to view the Full Data provided in the EXIF ;)

    @ gps, not as cool as the traveling sunglass guy.  8) mine is just stationary
    i do think having all these different locations ( ie.. two off road sections and an event section) can be both useful and a bit laborious , and maybe a bit confusing to new users ( where do i post what and when?) i don't have problem with it either way.  just sayin, there might be room for improvement in the layout of the forum.  most forums use calenders for scheduling, not generally a gathering or communication spot.  I do realize the events section and it's purpose, but there are two other off road sections that get used prodominately

    Cool, I was just trying to help in case you didn't notice the calendar feature.  This forum is for everyone to use and they should all use it as they feel suits them.  There is no "Wrong" way to post.  It's great that we are growing slowly and people are starting to use the forum to post get togethers, formal and informal.

    One of the things that in my mind really sets this forum apart from the big forums is that most of our member get to actually meet each other and race, bash and fly our RC models together.  That's just plain cool.  Moving sunglasses guy or not.  8)
