Nqd jet build

    Right now I'm building servo mounts for steering and throttle gonna put and then fuel tank mount all three will be mounted on one side or the other of the motor mount that's why I left so much of the bracket between engine and pump the radio and batteries will go in front of the engine if you got anny suggestions be all means hit me up

    So here's what I done did today servo mounts are done I fit everything in the boat made a few adjustments and trimming but it all fits real nice I still need to check the cg but I really can't move things much so may not really check cg kinda pointless since can't move much but I put it on the scales and got 2lb 14 oz my brushless weight is 2lb 6oz I think it will float so now I'm looking for paint ideas and scheme how about some nqd pics who else has one of these and how is yours painted come on guys pics and advice welcome

    Oh yeah sprint boats check this vid it was ran 10 miles from my house in fact if your ever this way I can arrange for you to take a ride in one of these 700hp 11 ft rockets how was those plug mold boats made fiberglass perhaps

    These guys are "Down Under" but they have been at this RC Jet Boat thing for a while :)

    As for taking a ride in a Sprint boat out your way... I LOVE THESE BOATS!!! I have ridden in many, though never on an actual course like these guys. I've built probably 75+ of these hulls for racers over the years, many of them local here. But also many from the Sacramento/Redding area and elsewhere.

    I am going to be coming through your area August of 2015 on my way back from a family reunion in Montana/Wyoming. If I can work it in, I'll plan to stay over in Caldwell. I was actually going to be taking Hwy 20 through Oregon back home so it isn't out of my way. I'll just need to try to fit in an extra day for the layover!

    I'm still workn on this one I've got the hull pretty well fixed and laid me a coat of white primer still not set on paint may do bright green with super dark green pearl

    Well I've settled on a paint scheam it's not finished I still have to do some touch up then color sand and smooth it out wth 2k grit wet paper then start laying the clear but all in all I think it looks good I'm thinking of naming it after a drag boat toxic rocket

    You can run one with a carpenters cheap little harbor freight compressor I'm not to good with mine but I love how I can customize colors and the control they give as for not to good with it for now I will keep practicing

    Well I gave the nqd nitro a float test today and it didn't sink so guess time to get back on it not only did it float but the balance seams right on
