New to RC scene

Went to Sleadds yesterday and from advice from the guy down there, I went with the Team Associated pro lite 4x4.  I am sure there are better options but it worked for my pocketbook and it will give a me a place to start from getting into the hobby.  I appreciate everyone's input and I hope to get to meet some of you at the tracks etc.  I will keep an eye out on here for when the J-ville track is opening and anything else that is going on as well.  I have a couple of friends that have cars that haven't been to tracks either so hopefully we can rally some more support for local tracks.

well glad to hear you got your new toy and first of this awsome hobby! Just a little warning it starts off as a hobby and fastly becomes an addiction!! lol it did for me!! I probley wont be running short course trucks but i hope to bump into you! I will be running 1/8 scale nitro buggies!

I started this hobby last summer with a drifter and by this summer my collection has grown to 6 vehicles now and a couple more on the way!!

True that I was pretty stuck on only drifting. But now I want a car of each genre. Lol don't get me wrong drifting is still my passion but man I wanna race..... Drifting is more fun when going tandem with a friend, and the drift community is pretty small. Now it's time for me to branch out as well as the addiction grows.. I'm goin with the sc10 it 2wd but I'm sure to run into u too. Maybe already have... Lol ...
