Hey I'm relatively new to rock crawling. I've been doing it at home for about 1-1/2 years with the internet as my only source of info on it. We don't have a hobby shop within 100 miles of where I live, and I don't have any friends into it. I've built an Axial SCX10 out of parts one piece at a time, and also a MOA 1/10th crawler from parts, as well as a heavily modded 1/8th MOA (started as an Exceed MadTorque but only the MadTorque axles remain). I'm looking for peeps to crawl with nearby, and people to trade and share ideas and knowledge with. Started out in r/c decades ago with an old school RC10. Got back into the hobby and am now plagued with issues programming the new electronics and dealing with battery issues all the time, but I otherwise love the hobby! Let me know if there's someone from this forum who would be interested in trail-running, rockcrawling, or just trades and/or info sharing. Thanks!
Take your rig to public places it will cause an attraction and more people will try to get involved especially the budies u have with you. Makes it hard without a hobby shop. But I'll get a hold of you on my next trip to the mill casino.
Sounds like a plan. I'm starting to see a few folks listing their rigs on craigslist, so there are a few crawlers around where I live. I just don't know who they are. Thanks for the reply!
i know reedyb is in coos county and i know theres atleast one or 2 more that are here on the forums! I know that there is a good group of us in the gp/medford area
Nice thanks! I met one guy today who had a track and crawler course, and knows of more. So far so good.
