J ROCK-if they could get the price down below a grand , it would be tempting. You could build an OFNA GTP for Under $580.00 , and it would do the same.Getting the nerve up to run it at a speed , that would create enough down force to keep it straight might be an issue.

I'd like to run my OFNA GTP-2e against the new Traxxas XO-1.  Get one and we can meet at Harbeck.

Have you guys heard of VTA class racing?  I found this yesterday: http://www.usvintagetransam.com/

It looks interesting and very reasonable to get into.  By reasonable I mean low cost compared to many other classes.  It also look like it would make for more driver's skills since the cars are going to be pretty well matched.

Here is one of the videos I watched:

Watching that video I kept thinking of one thing - HARBECK!!!!! What a GREAT idea for on-road racing! I'll bet we could get enough people organized and set something up with the school! Hmmm...

I saw some TC4s and TC5s on eBay for good prices.  Actually got a bid in now myself.  There are other 1/10 chassis that might also be good for this class, but I want something that can do double duty like VTA, Drifting and faster on-road racing also.

Maybe we should look into how many people might want to do some 1/10 scale on-road also.

    ...and Harbeck!

I like the fire hoses used as railing.
