I think the body will look great in Indy Silver and black. Are you thinking gloss or flat black? I guess flat is hard to do if you paint the inside like you're supposed to. I did see one guy's body where he scuffed the outside and made it look flat.

That's a good idea! Do you use a airbrush to paint or a rattle can?

In another thread Nexus is telling me about his airbrush experience. He is really good with it. I don't know who else is doing airbrush so that's why I asked. I have one but have never used it because I don't have a airbrush compressor.

So I got lil more work done on it got the servo mounted and the battery tray fabricated and there's still room for my engine and radiator since I shortened the wheel base I had to use the canquish cms and clamped to front shock hoops looks like it's gonna work pretty good

That's pretty interesting. Are the holes on the front fender corners intentional?

Yes the holes are intentional there was the front hood brace that used to mout there so had to cut to clear frame when the grill and hood are on can't even notice them

I see. Interesting way to mount the servo. Will your motor's blower protrude through the hood when you're done?

No the blower will not it fit perfect in there and the hood closes snug I'm almost half tempted to remove blower and fabricate air filter out of styrene to replace it

Bummer. Once we had a thread with a guy who fabricated a really cool air intake system using a straw and a screw-on toothpaste cap. The straw was cut to form a large diameter pipe and painted aluminum and the toothpaste cap was painted to look just like a K&N air filter.

Maybe it was Chaseloc101 who made it, I don't remember but he might.

I was looking for the thread on how it was done but didn't find it. Maybe Chase can remember. But I think you've got the idea. It looked very realistic when it was done.
