[May 2, 2014] PacNW RC Tank Battle Days: May (Oregon & Washington)

The Northwest Divisions Pacific Armor Corps (NORDPAC), having postponed the February start of our 2014 battle campaign due to severe winter weather, will commence battles, demonstrations, and the exhibition of members' RC armored vehicles in May on the following dates and at the locations specified. Non-members welcome, loaner tanks available, special protocols for air-soft combatants. Additional details may be found on the NORDPAC web site or that of the host organization.

5/17: at the Oregon Military Museum on the ORNG's Camp Withycombe, Clackamas, OR for "Living History Day". This will be the fifth consecutive year of the club's appearance at this event under the auspices of the Military Vehicles Collectors Club of Oregon. Overnight RV camping (no hook-ups) by permit. Set-up 0800, battles commence 1000, stand down 1600.

5/24: at the Keizer Brigade battlefield adjacent to the RC airfield of the Keizer Radio Control Association at 6763 Hwy 99E, Keizer, OR for "Warbirds Fly-In". This will be the fifth consecutive year of the club's appearance at this event. Set-up 0800, battles commence at 1000, stand down 1500.

4/26: on Memorial Day at Flying Heritage Museum, Seattle, WA for "Tank Fest 2014". This will be the fourth consecutive year of the club's appearance at this event. Participating members admitted free to the museum. Set-up 0800, battles commence 1000, stand down 1600
