Tell us what you did, what worked.
Also, don't be shy about posting some more photos. I'd like to see the four blade tail setup you put on.  :)

Sure ill post pics when i get the chance. As far as what I did

    1. I twisted the belt to the other way to make the tail rotor spin the other way.
    2. I did change the tail rotor from a 2 blade over to a 4 blade.
    3. sped up the throttle curve because like others said if the tail rotor isnt spining fast enough then it wont be doing its job.
    4. Played with the servo to get it in the middle of the throw.
    5. played with the sub trim to fine tune the left spin to where it didnt spin at all to the left and just stayed there.
    6. tried to hover while crashing some because there still was some what of a left spin.
    7. lol repeated steps 4-6 a couple of times.
    8. played with the gain for the gyro.
    9. still need to work on some other things like getting the main blades to track each other but had stable flight.
    10. Switched out Battery for a new one
    11. Still had Stable flight
    12.  Lipo Fire OK JUST KIDDING
    13. Repeated steps 10-11

Photos AND video please.  We know you've got to be hooking up your FPV gear on that heli.

Most set the throttle to hover just after the center throttle,
so if you went with the suggested settings typical of the manufactures (or the settings I gave) this would be normal.

Fly your heli and enjoy ;)

OK OK so I was trying to make a video while flying this weekend and crashed it into the BBQ Grill and had to order parts. So im waiting for them to come before I can keep going with thee four blade rotor, I have been thinking about a 2 blade rotor instead as it seems easier to tweak and setup.  Do you guys still go to the school there in GP on Sundays? I might just have to bring it out there sometime so you guys can look at it and and we go from there. I keep tweaking this and that but the pitch on the main rotor blades still seem as if its still isnt setup right. I can go to say full throttle and no lift, so that tells me there isnt enough positive pitch. I did make some changes tonight and im waiting untill day light to give it another try.

    Sorry for your crash  :-\

Now don't hate me for saying the following,
... but this is exactly the reason why we don't recommend the more advanced helicopters as a first heli

The odds are simply against us and it's more than likely we are going to crash before we have developed the necessary skills.
... It's better to learn first how to fly before we move onto the more advanced birds.

And sorry, hindsight being what it is, I should have said this before your first flight [IMG]
... Therefor I agree, maybe a two bladed, fly-bared helicopter and keep teh multi-blade for later ??

I have a blade mcpx and have flowen that for that last couple of years also i have had a blade 400 last year but got rid of it so I can do fpv. And the crash was due to trying to fix the pitch on the main rotor to get that correct. O and i did order some training gear as well so I'm hoping that works out for me.

The training gear would be a plus
... A year without flying is a long time but I'll just leave my other post for the lurkers and the beginners, eh

If I remember right at mid stick your blades should be a positive 7*?

Yeah I'm not sure but to fix it I ended up giving it more rpms and that helped make the tail rotor go faster in return could control the helicopter better

I think most fellas setup -1 or 2 at mid stick normal mode with "0" at mid stick in idle up modes.

I think I've got 3-5 degrees up at mid stick on my Beam E4.

I stand corrected John, what I meant to say is -1 or 2 at low throttle normal mode.
I am at 0 at mid stick in all 3 modes.

Are you using any expo Bill?  I think I set my E4 up like that because I am running a pretty high head speed and no expo.  I think I was looking to get less negative pitch at the low sticks.  It's been a while since I set all that up.
