Hey Bill, I see you have a Axial SCX10 in your signature.  Have you posted photos of that here?  Do you go crawling often?

I do have one. I get it out here once in a while and run around the yard and over the raised beds in the garden. It goes with us camping a lot because there are so many more challenging things to crawl over when you get out in the hills.  ;D
It's just a stock trail honcho so nothing really exciting. I did lower the gears in it though, and got a HK 2.4GHz TX and RX for it.
It was a ready to run and came with a FM radio with antennas that were always in the way.
No, I don't think I do have any photos of it any where.

3D Image of my GAUI Hurricane ep255 ...

To view typically 3D glasses are preferred
... but surprisingly we can also view without glasses just by crossing our eyes.

How to view oh natural, without glasses
    • Gently cross your eyes until you see four images instead of two
    • Now relax your view so the images come together into three images
    • Concentrate on the middle image and try to lock in your view.
    • When you see the image in 3D (may take some practice) you should be able to move your view around the image to look in detail.
    • How to View w/ viewing hints and samples

hehe, did it work for ya?
        Thanks for looking.

That's got to look slick wOOd but I can't get my eyes to focus properly yet.  :p
There used to be photos/pictures like that, that you had to slightly cross your eyes and get focused just right to see them and they were pretty cool.

Try this (DEAD URL) , it's larger (not as sharp) but I deleted ALL distracting wires just behind the heli
... But yeah it does take some practice

Re: "There used to be photos/pictures" ...
... Hey Bill have a look at the link (again) How to View, he has demo samples that make mine look silly? [IMG] LOL

HaHa, speaking of 3D glasses (LOL, I know, only I was),
    ... I just came across this morning, 'serendipity' at it's best/worst? ------------>
Well yeah, crossing my eyes for too long doesn't make me a happy camper! Not to mention my 'maid' says "I LOOK funny" [IMG]

I wonder if (my) aged eyes are capable of focusing properly on those photos to be able to see them in 3D. I've tried until my eyes hurt and still can't get it.  ::)  pun intended,  ;D

I've had the 500 out several times lately experimenting with videos using the NAZA in gps mode. All is working pretty well except I'm not too proud of my cheapy Sony webbie camera. GoPro silver any good?

Also getting some stick time on the FunCub with the wheels on. Taking it with me in a couple weeks to the lake with floats, hopefully I can get someone to snap a photo or a little video.

I'd guess NOT your 'aged' eyes, it takes ALLOT of practice. Not to brag but I can lock it in pretty fast now, although (when I first discovered this type of 3D way-back-when) I had great difficulty getting it to work ... again so much so it hurt ... I found it best NOT to TRY too hard, don't overdo the effort by coming back another day ;) Also I found the larger the images the more my eyes have to cross themselves, they have to work harder. Easier with the smaller images ...

Hey don't sweat it, post em anyway?
... We're NOT interested in the video as much as were interested in seeing your helicopter fly ;)

A number of years back there were a lot of pictures around, not side by side but single and you had to do sort of the same thing to get the 3D image to stand out. I could do it then. I'll work on yours a little more.  :)

The video I was shooting was onboard. It was mostly bad because I've changed the mount for the camera and it picks up a lot more vibration now. I need to try something a little different. Here are a few stills from the video though.  ;)

Oh, I thought it was like you last video where you shot the helicopter flying.
... Aerial shots are OK but I do like helicopter pron better.

I see you had an audience, helper, well you might put him to work videoing your flights?

Yep and he'd better watch out, we all know how easy it is to turn into an RC junkie.  ;)

Must be a mom thing. I think I heard that more than once too.

wOOd, I can get these (in the link) but still can't get the stereo/3d effect on your helis.
These below are the type I remember from some years back.

    http://www.eyecanlearn.com/random_dot_stereogram.htm

    I did it..  ;D
I had to hold a pen about 8" from my nose and focus on that, then the 3d heli came into view after a bit.
