I really don't know wOOd. Just the items I mentioned earlier come to about $150.
I am so disgusted with my self about this I was ready to strip it down and ebay any thing that is salvageable. My dear spouse talked me into sitting it back on the shelf for a while, then rebuild it.
The bad part is, it appears Fusuno no longer makes these fuses and getting parts is going to be a challenge. I do have the replacement tail fin but it will need to be repainted. I've found some landing gear struts but in black, so would need paint also. The rest is just mechanical bits to be repaired or replaced.

I did get some video that same day with the parachute drop I had told you about. Not the best quality but I think I can edit bits from all three cameras together to make a clip worth watching.  :)
No video video of the heli wreck other than what keeps running through my minds eye.

Sorry to hear the news Bill.  I've felt exactly the same way with helicopters not nearly as nice as yours.  I think your wife gave you some great support and advice, kudos to her.

    Thank you Yoda ...

I've been into photography since taking a photography course in high-school (as the years drift by, LOL) but unfortunately with the COST of 'Film Development' it slowed my progress

Now in the age of 'Digital' Photography and the move of the actual picture making away from the Darkroom' into our 'Photo Editors' I find my learning has accelerated into WARP drive

After buying my D90 I had the realization, actually I remembered it's NOT the camera that makes the BEST pictures as the camera is only the tool for getting the picture information but the best pictures are made by the photographer in the Virtual Darkroom of our Photo Editor ...

[the TIP] If you also want the best photo's from your camera's you NEED to learn to tweak them in your Photo Editors [/end of TIP]

LMAO, "Now I've learned the 'Rules' I have to learn how the break them !!"

w00d -  Newegg is having a sale on the Adobe Lightroom application:

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832105977&Tpk=32-105-977&nm_mc=EMC-GD051512&cm_mmc=EMC-GD051512-_-index-_-Item-_-32-105-977

    Use Promo Code: EMCYTZT1600

They have free shipping, but I don't know if that applies to Canada.

I used Lightroom a while back and it is a fantastic application.  I bet if you Google it you will find mostly great reviews.

The offer is for 48 hours only.

hehe, I have to agree Lightroom is good ...

... Unfortunately no money for another Photo Editor at the moment and beside for the same money the editor I have now does the same.

My next move and upgrade with respects to another Photo Editor is to buy the complete Photoshop package. Sorry but Lightroom would be a lateral move for me thus not an upgrade ...

Thanks for the link anyway ...
... maybe someone can use it as it is a good application

hehe, I know it's NOT a BIG deal but a few days back I discovered, found my RSS feed for my PhotoBucket Account
            [IMG]

I've also added to my Signature ...

... Having the RSS close makes it handy, gives me quicker access to teh URL's of my most resent uploads.
This basically eliminates the need to go to each and every category every time I need a given URL, w00t

    Thanks for Looking

    Strange ?

If your browser doesn't support RSS feeds you will need an RSS reader to read them ...

But as far as I know most browsers I've seen can read RSS feeds

Sorry Bill don't know what else I can tell ya ??

I am using Firefox and it reads fine here

    [hr]

Click this link, then look near the bottom of that page (just above) for the Links or the orange RSS Icons that link the two RSS Feeds, see if those are working

Chrome didn't like that one either, and it does open in IE, at least on my machine.

RSS feeds are not intended to be consumed with browsers.

Try loading the RSS feed into a newsreader like Google Reader:

    Hi again Yoda

Have a wee BIT of NEWS to be filed under "things to keep in back of mind[IMG]  hehe

I just finished trying to install the trial vs of the NEW Lightroom 4 which NOT so promptly
informed me that I needed VISTA (Service Pack 2) or Win7 (Service Pack 1) to RUN ...
... Bah, I have WinXP so I was crap out of luck ....

LOL, but of course I could have saved myself allot of time if I had only read the ...
    ... System Requirements before downloading

That's odd.  What could possible be so different from XP to Vista and 7?

EDIT: Did anyone notice, well of course you didn't and HOW could you KNOW but the REAL colour for this canopy or to be more accurate the bottom of this canopy and one letter in the name "PRÔTOS" the colours are actually 'Lime Green' ... My camera shot those yellow thus most of my photo's of this canopy has been showing them being yellow. Which as you NOW SEE above (as I've corrected the colours back into teh original Lime Green) the correct colours for this canopy. Shown HERE is same photo with the incorrect colour of yellow FYI:

Very cool job w00d.  How about some blue sky with clouds, or a city-scape background?

I get a newsletter from Sourceforge and in the last one there was a open source HDR workflow application called Luminance HDR.  It is available  for Windows, Mac and Linux.  I don't know if it is something you might be interested in.  You can find it here:

LOL, here ya go ... after using the HDR Workflow application --->

hehe, [IMG] SORRY but NO, I did that with my Photo Editor  [IMG]

I have finished looking at that HDR Workflow application and found I didn't like it ...

... In short I didn't like any of the results it produced and although I tried NO amount of tweaking could get
them looking any better. The 'learning curve' was difficult, also the 'user interface' was somewhat cumbersome
to the point of also being  difficult. Nothing about the program was what I would say "intuitive" and "easy"

I'm sure you would also found and got the same result, but nope I can't say I liked this application. I wouldn't
recommend and would tell everyone NOT to bother with it ...

... To be fair {haha, "trying"} though, maybe more time spent I could have had a better result although I
    suspect otherwise ...

I downloaded it and started to compile it for Linux, but needed a few other components so I stopped since I had some other things to do.  I'll give it a go this week and see how the Linux version looks.
