I'm waiting for the 'Jeeves' robot ... The 'butler' robo that does it ALL, windows, floors, toilets, wash dishes, laundry, BRINGS ME A (two) BEERS, everything ... I suppose that's where the tech will eventually go !?!
... and Surrogates LMAO gotta luv 'logical' conclusions Set in a futuristic world where humans live in isolation and interact through surrogate robots, a cop is forced to leave his home for the first time in years in order to investigate the murders of others' surrogates.
Off Topic: Hey Yoda, a personal question only because I'm just too curious for my own good :-[ ... When you post at this time of the day, are you at work?
I think they will be able to clone us before they can create surrogates as depicted in the movie. They've already cloned everything else and actually want to un-extinct some pigeons ala Jurassic Park. Because we don't have enough pigeons I guess. When you link to a image that is saved on another web server you are bandwidth robbing their service which is poor etiquette. The appropriate way to do it is to copy (download) the image and save (upload) it to the server where it will be linked. Even better is to give attribution to the original website via a link.
I know, I'm JUST incorrigible ... In most cases I have no issues w/ it if I'm helping promote their product or website. ... Except in this case it would have been wrong if it had worked.
BTW, I think if they want to create a new bird they should create living Turducken. That would make the holiday cooking a lot easier.
