Usually the goggles have a built in Rx, so make sure it matches.

I crashed it again, twice actually, and have it apart for repairs.  Nothing serious and in fact I can fly it as is, but one arm (aluminum tube - think large diameter helicopter boom) has a kink and I chipped a corner of a landing skid mount which are plastic.

I already have all the parts but am also going to make a new wiring configuration and I am also rethinking my camera and monster battery mounts.  I will post some re-build photos soon.

I finally got around to repairing the GAUI 500X from my crash at the last indoor fly-and-drive.  I test flew it last night and she is hovering just great.  I really love the way this quad flys.  If the clouds clear up a little I might go to the park and run down a few batteries later.

John - Be sure to bring your GAUI to the indoor fly this Wednesday.  This is the last fly of the year and maybe the last indoor fly period.  Rick and I flew our quads in the dark at Redwood last night.  What a kick!  We plan to fly again in the field behind the gym on Wednesday.  My quad has 72 LEDs on it now.  It's like a flying Christmas tree!  :)

WOW!  I'm sure you are driving all those LEDs with your cool new controller.  I'd really like to see that.

I will bring the GAUI this Wednesday.
