i'm not calling it a bust just yet.  trying be real about it though, i am still trying.  it's just late in the year to have to do everything we'll need to.  Not impossible by any means to get all the work done.  with fewer resources than before, and my available time stretching thin, i'll need more help physically and financially with the shrunken window of oportunity @ that facility.  I have a few hundred feet of pipe also, so any pipe donations would be great (but lets wait to see if we get a green light).

Ok, I'm calling it a bust.  I apologize to everybody who offered to help.  Due to the fact that the Cons severley outweighed the Pros, I am not willing to apply for the use of the property in white city.  I've read and fully understand the application, and deemed it not to our benifit.  There is just too much to purchase for that property.  I don't know the current condition of property.  I was involved in the land maintinence there before so i know the manual labor is possible.  However,  i think my help can be better used elsewhere.  The amount of time and resources needed are just too large.  The purchase of pipe would have drained me.  Even if i'd bucked up for the pipe, we would still need too much.  I am choosing to concentrate on racing, fishing and my personal life instead of funneling my time/money into a project with the county that seems an uphill battle.  Maybe next year their can be a "club" that can be more effective in obtaining the use of property and abiding by the regulations set forth by county.  Until then, I will be racing @ j-ville, rattlesnake, k-falls, gp, cottage grove and private tracks too.  The former operators only did one thing well, and that was to make sure if they couldn't have it then nobody could.

That's quite a shame, but I think a lot of people really respect you taking so much into your hands. I know a lot of people were rooting for you, but I'm personally putting my enthusiasm towards Adam's indoor track.

Well Adam if no one else uses it we could surely use it here since as stated it is a huge expense.  To Austin I'm sorry it didn't work, but I had a fear that it wouldn't.  The militants over there have made it a total blunder unless you have a large amount of cash and time.

I've never met you so this may come across harsh as I always do, but I do have to ask.  What makes you think " they tried to keep it going" ???  They let in leaders that were more detrimental to the club than good, they consistently abused there power, they would not and will not reason with anyone with a different opinion.  Please explain to me what they did to keep interest alive?

As Austin put it, the "club" and "club Dues" paid for everything needed for the last few years, along with performing most of the manual labor tasks needed.  I would doubt they had much of there own money, time or resources involved.  I'm more of a confrontational person than Austin is and I will say what needs to be said, I find it offensive that you made the remark about the pipe and the latter fact that GPS (john) backed you up on it.  Seeing that he is a mod that abuses his powers at be and chooses sides, which as a moderator is completely wrong and shows a general lack of intelligence in general.  Me I have an opinion that I voice very well to anyone at anytime they may need it, hence the reason I am not a mod myself but if I was I would be more concise about which sides to choose or parties to be involved in.  This is a rant so I will stop, make your words wise and think about what your saying before you say it.  I am getting awful tired of the bickering towards people actually doing something with there lives and time.
