FLIR has announced a new thermal camera specifically designed to fly. They even have an optional GoPro mount for it. It's not exactly cheap, but considering it's from FLIR and is a professional grade unit, it's pretty inexpensive $1500). This is a major step forward toward getting thermal imagining on our small multirotors. Expensive yes, but not completely out of reach like the products they're had in the past. It has NTSC output so it will plug right into our FPV transmitters! It's ready to go out of the box, but you can plug it into the USB port of your PC if you want to tweak a few things.
