Yes, there is a lot of room inside. So just the camera stuff will be outside on top. Yeah the quad must have broken an arm off in a bad crash.

Your airplane is looking good. Do you plan to paint it or leave it white?

I was just thinking about that. I have been watching a lot of Coast Guard Alaska on TV and think I will do some orange and black with the white. Nothing fancy though.

Black and Orange sound like good choices. I was thinking that stock White color would be hard to see, unless that's what you are going for.

Is this your first plane? Have you flown planes before?

You should do fine as a heli pilot.
Just make the first flights in a space with lots of room with no trees or tall things that reach out and grab you and a grassy landing area. ;)

I don't know Bill, I've flown in some really big open areas and the trees still managed to grab my hexacopter. :)

I think that happens to everyone, it's just amazing how trees, etc, etc seem to come to life and just step right in the way.

It might be this weekend, but just as a plane, got the motor and prop installed today and tested it on the floor, good thrust! Need to install ESC and Rx and will pick up two aileron servo cable extensions this week.

Hey, that doesn't count as a maiden flight.

Tyson - Just be sure to check the CG. Remember that nose heavy is way better than tail heavy. Tail heavy is a crash in process. Can't wait to see it fly. Looks like you're about ready. Weather dude says no wind on Saturday and a windy week with cooler temps following after that. The last two weeks have been SO nice. I guess that was Fall for us. :-(

I wasn't sure if I would or not. But now I do. It is very durable.

Very nice. I like the color scheme. That should look really great in the air, and easy to see.
