Lookin good, ive always done it by hand and never more than 5' wide. I do usually rent a lawn roller for packing and snoothing $6 a day at the grange co op. And if u get your berms completly vertical, it'll whip that car around so qiuck. Almost steers its self..  workin an a drift course my self.

got some used 5in. fire hose for the dividers between lanes. (thanks GP fire guys!) should work great! i think i might split it in half, i think it will work out a little better and give me twice as much to work with.

Very nice.  Did they give it to you or was there any cost involved?  How can you split that?  It looks pretty tough.

they gave it to me for a donation. they do a yearly inspection on all hoses and it says blistering on it. i was thinking im going to use a sawzall with a metal blade. it has fibers sandwiched between rubber. i will just have to hold it nice and tight and hang on for the ride.

It looks like you don't get the brass fittings.

I think it will be scary no matter how you cut it.

i'm sure they can reuse the brass fittings. and i don't really know of a better way to cut it. i'm going to try my best to get it straight all the way down. i put up more pics when i get it done.

If your building the track in town and it's open somewhat to the public I would be willing to donate some pipe for it.
