I was at Sledds the other day when you had the Kyosho there. That is some kind of 1/8th scale buggy version of the "INFERNO", if not an actual Inferno,Kyosho, (if that helps). An Inferno fuel tank should work ;)
btw: the motor on it looked like a plane motor (?)

Knightrider81: If that's a plan engine thin you will go real fast but that engine will burn up just as fast. :-X

ACP: Tusday in the am would be cool. 8)

lol yeah i think it might be an airplane engine! but those motors are 2 .28's and i think the other is a 4.6 i plan on putting a .28 in this thing and make it fly!!! lol also the buggy is an 1/8 kyosho burns buggy if u look up kyosho burns on youtube u will see this same one! i think i got a tank that will work now i either got to figure out the throttle linkage or change out the motor and figure out the new linkage setup for it!!

I see=looks like the "BURNS" preceded the "INFERNO'S"
I bet the throttle/brake rocker linkage is going to be the same as any nitro car =just a little pondering ???...AL's probably has all the wire and stops in stock, and one of there plane guys should be able to lay it out for you (for around $10.00 ?) =guessing

call them first,to make sure they have someone in that day who is knowledgable. Also, you will need to have a throttle servo mounted, or ready to mount, w/ a servo horn on it (a push/pull type).
BTW-if you can't come up w/ the correct linkage, Golden Child may have a KYOSHO INFERNO set up from an electric conversion he is doing.......somewhere on the linkage you will have a 90', because the brake runs parallel w/ the chassis, and the carb/throttle runs across the width (they criss cross). Also, if you are running an AM radio-not 2.4g , you may want to put a "fail safe" on it, so it shuts down & stops when radio interference occures-(that's what happened to my GTP=$$)-They are about $25.oo-a runaway costs about $70.oo...or more ;)(motor mount, main gear,upper/lower suspension arms, diff housing,ect.,ect..)= ??? :eek:oops.

That engine is like a os max and it is an old one. it is a car engine that came out with the car in 1985. its has a big head heat sink. ;)

I have been thinking about getting an 1/8 scale buggy, for dirt and asphalt ovals. They really go through tires, and the brakes don't compare to electric (fading and tunability)...BUT! THEY ARE WAAAY FUN!

yeah they are and if u get one of those big boy .28's then they hold tuning alot better then the smaller nitros im thinking i might sell one of the big .28's because i have another with the 2 other 1/8 buggies im buying! im buying from sledds 2 1/8 scale buggies and both have .28's with a spare .28 so i will be good on motors! but its ganna be a little bit b4 i get them payed off!
