What was it that you liked compared to a quad?

Well, again, after flying my quad for the first time, they just don't have it when compared to a heli. I don't like how they handle nearly as good, especially when loaded up with gear, they won't flare hardly. With 4 motors and 4 props it seems so much under powered than a single motor heli when there is weight on them. I had my timer set to 6 minutes for a 2200 lipo as I always do, but flying with a GoPro for the first time ever on the quad and it went dead and crashed 5 minutes in. Didn't even have the giant snapware box on the quad like I do the heli and it still was short.

Going to try the APM on a heli as the next project someday.

I think they have new firmware out for the APM.
