That's cool you said from the beginning you work a lot and would get to it as you found the time . I was just curious how it was going

It's official!!! I have absolutely no more airplanes, nor any other R/C stuff! Sold it ALL and am going to focus on this build exclusively! Been pressuring my engineer to get the final parts design done so I can punch, press, bend, and weld up the hull :D Stay tuned, it's coming... really!

Mike, this sounds like a amazing project. I am looking forward to seeing a RC version of one of those cool boats. I hope you make a dedicated thread for this project.

Hey... I'm not getting excited yet. This is the same Golden Child that was trying to buy a biplane on here two days ago. :)

Wow, awesome boats! Great links also. I've looked at the Quickdraw engines and MHZ drives and none of their offerings were what I was looking for. Marine Specialties is a new one to me and it looks like they have some interesting stuff. Thanks!

If you are looking for good parts and motors for your boats go to GIZMO.com Gizmo motors are Zenoah based gas engines. Lots of part and good hp. Up to 6.8 hp on some motors. Quickdraw motors are high hp but they are not as reliable and cost ALOT more than Zenoah based motors. Most people that race in NAMBA use to run Quickdraw motors but they got to expensive and did not last like other race motors, Quickdraw motors are made in Weed California. Great guys, just very proud of their stuff.
