Any thoughts ...maybe w/ lower profle wheeles/tires, it might make a good parking lot racer ...waterproof,and can take ungroomed surfaces. The low CG conversion alone is 1/2 the cost of the whole car =any input on the low CG set up?
I think it would be cool to put a low CG in it and race it on the street or even a drifter would be fun. Is it the focus?
they come w/ a "low C.G." Rustler 4x4 (shorter) chassis-it seems like it could be improved by adding more street specific type wheels (maybe foam tires?) ???
LscottD: GPS has a 1/8 scale electric car,and I am looking for cheep ways to compete ;D ;D He has a couple of places in G.P. to run ovals, or do on road courses...1/18,1/16.1/10,1/8...or? : NITRO or Electric CHECK OUT THE PICKS OF GPS's "OFNA ULTRA GTPe" ON PRIOR POSTS HERE= WOW!!!=then go to Youtube and view a couple w/ "Momba Max" brushless motor set ups=dang-boyee!
My nitro rustler works really well on the street. It hardly roles and corners like nothing else. I Have moved the battery pack to the front for more weight on the front. all I do to race it on the street is put the foam tires on and zip tie the suspension down to make a better CG. I would love to run an oval/street track with my rustler.
LscottD-I would like to ck that out.I have a few Sport type rigs for play-maybe it's time to dig that stuff out. HEY GPS!....harbeck's calling.
