Why don't we use tray style radios?

    Just curious.  Why do we here in the United States tend to not use tray radios?

    Shown below are the very customizable Spektrum DX-10t and the Futaba (Robbe) FX-30 tray style radios.

    Tray-style radios are typically used by professionals that get paid to go out screw-off! What I like to call "Professional F*ck-Offs". We are not what you would call professional (lol) ;) Not to mention they are considerably more expensive than typical "mainstream" radios. Spektrum DX-10t = $1100, Futaba FX-30 = $1400+.
