OK I voted for what I currently have. Slash 4x4 6808.

The rational was, it was the only one on the market that came RTR and is waterproof.
This truck has proven to be loads of fun.
and the parts...  Almost everyone sells them. And many, many aftermarket upgrades are available.

At this point I've spent two or three times the original cost in repair and upgrade parts.
So, in hind sight, I could have had any of the ones listed.
But as a first timer, the Slash 4x4 was the best choice for me.

I voted for the OFNA (Hobao) Hyper 10SC because I own it and I really like the way it drives.  There are only two things that I wish were designed differently: One is there was no receiver box in the stock kit.  I am resolving this with a Team Associated SC10 receiver box (P/N 9877).  The second thing is that the aluminum chassis has no mud/dirt guards so stuff gets thrown inside the chassis, mostly from the front tires.  This compounds the issue of not having a receiver box in the stock kit.

Otherwise this is hands down the best handling SC truck I have ever driven.  I have not driven them all, but compared to what I have driven the Hyper 10SC is just great.

If I had to buy a 4x4 short course truck today I think I would get the OFNA Nexx 10SC because it is very similar to the OFNA Jammin but has pillow ball front suspension like the Hyper 10SC and also includes the chassis mud/dirt guards and receiver box standard in the kit.  The OFNA Nexx 10SC has a very nice chassis layout and keeps the wiring for all the electronics close together so it should be a clean setup and nice to work on.

I do like the Team Associated SC10 4x4 a lot, but I am a bit disappointed that they went with a plastic chassis instead of aluminum.  I want my short course truck to be built as sturdy as the 1/8 scale buggy's and I think OFNA does that the best today.

It was intended to be for electric only.  Sorry I did not clarify that.  I have corrected the post but it would not let me change the text in the poll question.

after owning the slash 4x4,jammin and sc10 4x4 i found the sc10 4x4 to be the absolute best and most durable,YEAH I SAID IT!! AN AE MORE DURABLE THAN A TRAXXAS!!

i have yet to break a part and plowed it into trees, the face of landings and curbs at full speed too.

the jammin breaks when you look at it wrong and the traxxas is best used for bashing and still it breaks where the sc10 4x4 laughs and keeps kickin no problem.
