I voted No, it's BS, because other videos support several other battery types including a proprietary "long" "D" size and normal "D" size with a spacer. The normal "D" size with a spacer seems to jive with my experience with these batteries as far as their life was concerned although I never opened one myself to see what was inside. On the other hand, the "AA" battery (first) video looked like a cheapo, no name, lantern battery and it is plausible that some manufacturer who makes crappy "AA" batteries (which the contents looked like) might try and get some extra mileage from their production by using them in a lantern battery casing. I got fooled lol, would be nice. But i just go to the dollar tree 32 for $4. figured it out last halloween for 15 mini strobe lights were dead. $1 beat that deal.
