That isn't much different than mine. The main difference is he is using goggles and I am using a laptop (still haven't got the hang of flying with goggles!). My equipment for this application is: Fujitsu Lifebook Laptop Computer KWorld DVD Maker 2.0 Video Capture Device using Cyberlink Power Producer to author video files Foxtech 5.8GHz Video Tx/Rx Sony CCD Board Cam mounted in my RQ-9 Reaper The base station video equipment runs off a 640mah 3s lipo and all the gear fits into my LowePro Laptop Bag for easy transport You know, one of these days I might have to actually FINISH this project ;D
That's awesome. I don't think you've showed us this setup before. I hope you give us a heads up before you maiden your Reaper. Will you do the maiden at the Kerby field or here in town?
I'll definitely do the maiden at Kerby and let you all know when I get it ready to go. I used this ground station setup for my FPV demonstration for the RVF. Thought I had also showed it off at Redwood but maybe not. My video Rx also has two A/V outputs so if I ever do get a set of goggles I can fly through them and still record directly to my laptop.
