We attended a drag racing event at the Champion Raceway in White City, Oregon, and shot some aerial video.
The motorcycles were first in the lineup so I only got a couple before I was setup and ready to fly. The rail in the video looked like it had a motorcycle motor in it. The final drive was a chain too. You could smell the difference in the fuel some of those faster cars were using.
rad vid !! i've been around that track since i was an infant. Never, have i seen footage like this of our local track. It was usually footage recorded on our suitcase sized camera.
Thank you. It was a lot of fun filming and just being there. I did not even know that the Champion Raceway existed until a couple months ago. Luckily at that time I ran into Mike DeCamp who was gracious enough to invite me out.
