    Good stuff, but $8500. :eek:
    You notice the inward angle of the motors on that thing.
    Must be something like having dihedral on an aircraft wing for stability?

    I think the $8500 is only the airframe (S800 hexacopter) the new "Ruling" transmitter system is probably going to cost around that much again.
    It seems that from the Ruling radio you can control both the hexacopter and the camera gimbal so it eliminates the need for a separate camera operator as was the case with other professional drone type camera systems.

    Regarding the inward angle:  You know, the GAUI 500X also has tilted motors and I had asked people at the flying field why they thought that was and nobody thought about it being comparable to dihedral on a airplane.  It makes sense when thought about like that.  Good thinking and thanks.

    That's a lot of money, but at least is seems to be somewhat reasonable when compared to Futaba's $3000 18MZ.
