It looks like the ready to fly model comes with the same TX I have with my Blader mRS.  ;D
Not that I need another toy.

GC - My finger is already in the pie at Al's.

GPBill - The BNF model ($139) should work with any of the little ultra micro transmitters and any other Spektrum DSM2 Tx for that matter.  It might even work with Goldens DX8.  ;)

It look as if the canopy was inspired by an off road buggy.
Wonder if I can find one 5" wide to fit my TriCopter?

Smitty - You might look into some of the GAUI 330 or 500 bodies.

Not too offend anyones tastes, each to his/her own but the Canopy is the only thing I don't like about this bird
Good the choice of Canopy is an option (even if this is done DIY) thus able to change to anything that suits our own sense of what looks good

Although {IMHO} I think a Multi-Rotor Helicopter look best without a canopy, look better naked and a Single-Rotor Helicopter look better fully dressed ...

    ... I'd guess a Multi-Rotor's Canopy HELP w/ orientation [IMG]

+1 Wood, I have been flying my helo FPV with no canopy because of how the equipment was installed, can't stand it anymore, will re-install all the camera stuff in a manner that will allow for the canopy to be installed.

The Tricopter will just be batteries and controller stuff strapped to a skeleton  8)

I'm mixed on the canopy/no-canopy question.  I can't say I've seen a pod-and-boom style helicopter that looks better without the canopy, although I certainly appreciate what's under the canopy.  Quads and other multi-rotors have a lot of tech, or at least more of the same tech, and can look pretty awesome in a skeleton kind of way, but still there is quite an investment under there you probably want to protect.
Additionally all canopy's should help with orientation, and my eyes sure can use all the help they can get with that.

For teh Multi-Rotor to protect from a wee bit of rainy-drizzle I wouldn't mind a clear Lexon Canopy
But YES after hearing PP and Yoda I got to thinking it would mainly depend on what I had to show-off ...
... if only a bunch of WIRE'n Connectors, LiPo's and ESC's then maybe better it ALL GETS hidden!
Guess I would want to show-off it's smart looking Controller Board and Radio Gadgetry with all the Blink'n Flash'n LED's and not-waht ;)
