I got on here wondering if anybody has tried out these mini quadcopters. I have a shuang ma 9128 that is AWESOME. And another mjx x100. The shuang does multiple flips. I've only done three but I've seen it do 9 in a row.

Have you guys seen these things in action?

Several people around have Blade mQX quads.  I think Tiger has a Walkera lady bug.

As GPS mentioned, I have both the Blade MQX and the Walkera Ladybug.  Both are very good.  The MQX is nice because it can use my standard Spektrum transmitter.  It's also a little larger so it flys better outside in a little wind.  The Ladybug is super tiny and requires a late model Walkera  "Devo" transmitter.  The older Walkera transmitters will not work with it.  I have the "original" Ladybug which has both gyros and accelerometers so it can do auto leveling.  The newer "Version 2" Ladybug only has the gyros.  I have not flown one of those, but I'm sure it's still flys pretty well.  Both the old and new models are still available with the V2 being very slightly less expensive.  For my money, I'd pay the little extra for the original six axis model.  You'll have to look carefully at the ads to know which one you are getting.

As for which one to pick, it kinda depends on what you want to do with it.  Both fly very well and really take a beating.  The MQX is a little better outside if for no reason other than it is much more visible.  The Ladybird on the other hand wins the "cute" contest hands down and it's cheaper.  It might be the better choice for something that always flys indoors.  If you end up with the Ladybird, PM me or post here and I'll pass along a couple helpful tips.

If you want to see one or both of these fly, I can bring them to Redwood some Sunday.  I actually flew the bug there last week and had a blast.  Just let me know if you want me to bring them out.
