The TLR 22SCT has been revealed and most people were probably expecting it. Horizon Hobby has a (25-minute !) preview video up to check it out. I'm not a short course guy, so tell me what you think is cool/retarded about this! Are we going to see anybody (besides Adam ::) ) pick up one of these?

And, for those interested, Horizon Hobby confirmed with me that the kit is currently "on the water [from Taiwan]" and expected to be in stock at retailers this time next month.

Nothing retaded!  It is the best out hands down!  I've been driving an SC10 for years always waiting for losi to come out with a new SC truck because the xxxsct was just old technology as was the SC10, I've driven a 22T and that thing is on rails!  I can't wait till ones here, maybe I will try to climb back to the top in SC class next year.

    That's what I like to hear.  ;)

I'm ever-so-slightly tempted to get into short course because of this. My wallet tells me otherwise, though.

The only thing better then the new losi is the kyosho sc.  LOL.    Always been a losi fan, just never really liked the xxxsct.    might have to pick one up and check it out.

Bwahaha. The funny part of this is that we just talked about this at the track. (Assuming you're "Cow Spots". Forgive me, but I forget your name.)

Also, TLR has uploaded a video of this thing in action. It definitely looks stable and controllable. It's also cool to hear in the preview video how much time went into making it feel right and changing things like front caster, trailing spindles and high-flow body to get away from the traditional handling of short course.

nice vids nexus, thanks for posting.
looks like an awesome truck, lots of great design features, looks like it is very well laid out, and it's "faster"... great.. just great..  great news..  :-\
If its anything like the ten scte, we other brand loyalists are all going to be in trouble.
It's always a great thing for the hobby when other manufactures do something to raise the bar.  Looks like TLR has def. done that... again.

Yeah, I know what you mean with the "brand loyalty" thing. The only stuff I've ever raced has been Team Losi stuff, so I consider myself a brand loyalist there. Same goes for my electronics; I've always ran Novak ESCs, Trinity motors, Airtronics radio gear.

But like Austin said earlier, with so much innovation happening lately it's hard to remain brand loyal. I'm just thrilled to see that Team Losi has kept their racing heritage and innovation true well after Gil Losi left his own company. I was truly afraid for my favorite brand once he decided that it wasn't his vision anymore, but they "split" their teams, re-branded themselves as TLR and are still moving the sport forward. Awesome.

Here's the other good news. Since I can't afford to buy one of these things (yet) all you short course guys don't have to worry about me beating you! :)

yes, this is it exactly.. I have been expecting more from some other manufactures.. to at least try and play "catch up" with their products. Honestly i have kind been expecting more from AE but maybe i am just not really up on all thier equip. as of late. that is just me talking out my ass tho.. not trying to flame or start a brand war..
just glad someone is raising the bar so we can all reap the benefits of innovation once the rest of the industry trys to match/beat the products already out there.

As the ae homer that I am they aren't showing that they are going to step up to the plate mostly they have been rebadging old kits as new sc10 is 2005 tech the new scgt is just a rc10gt with a sc body and the 22t Is a far superior kit it's light years ahead of everything except maybe the kyosho now I have to figue out how to afford one
