Now the FAA had decided that all of us (not just drone pilots) should have to pass a written test before we can fly. Read this: http://hackaday.com/2016/03/15/faa-reauthorization-bill-includes-provisions-for-hobbyists/ ...Tiger
Crazy stuff. I'm being nice with the language . First it was volunteer register, and register before a deadline. It seems to me that the nice guy here will finish last. Just my opinion. I'll go along with the law, because it's the law. But to change as it goes along and because some individual feels like making a change and probably has no idea of what's going on, but only follows headlines is total B.S. Most of RC pilots here are in it for the joy, relaxation, hanging out with our buddies, some good conversation, building of a craft and just the fun of flying. I just see this getting worse.
I didn't understand the writer's comment: Does he mean that he believes that these 2016 Re-Authorizations rules will not pass since Morse code is no longer required. Or does he mean that he believes Morse is still required and as such the 2016 Reauthorization bill will negatively impact the hobby?
