Testing my patch antenna

    Tonight I did a return loss sweep on my Hobby Wireless 910 MHz patch antenna.  Attached is a picture I took of the analyzer screen.  Looks like it's tuned to about 917MHz (the dip).  The center of the screen is at 910MHz and each division is 5MHz.  Vertical is 5db/div.  Basically, any frequency that is at least three divisions down (SWR<1.5:1) from the top is a reasonable match.  This is actually better than I might have expected for a production unit (not individually tuned).  I also tested the whip antenna that came with the receiver and it is a little low in frequency and much broader than the patch.  I think it's just fine for what it is to.

    Impressive, I have read where Hobby Wireless sells some of the better FPV equipment, looks like it's true.
