It's a blessing we don't have flying cars and I'm pretty sure we never will because most people can't even drive on the ground. How do you think that would go with these same folks driving in the air? ...And people are complaining about RC model accidents! How would you like some knucklehead dropping his flying car into your house?
It's not because the technology doesn't exist because it dose, we have vehicles. What is getting in the way is no infrastructure, systems to make it safe and political will. Your right some have trouble driving in 2-dimensions therefor I can't imagine them traversing in 3D. This is where autonomous systems will have to be improved to take the driving out of users hands, relegating them to the role of passenger on supper highways of the sky, if ya will ... - w00d - ...
