I know that the experienced Pro crawler guys like brushed but I used brushless motors on my crawlers and am very happy with the results.

I figured I'd try something different on new project I'm starting figured I have super nice brushed setup in my one truck why not try brushless and see what really does handle better but I'm still kinda confused on the KV rating on how it would compare to turns on a brushed model

So i run a tekin fxr with a brushed epic 27t race motor and i have to say I LOVE this combo works really well and has way motor torque and wheels speed than the 27t axial motor! On the brushless set up theres to ways you can go! You can go sensored and have tons of power and get a high turn and still be able to crawl well in but your not fully waterproof or you can go non sensored and stay around 3000kv and just regear and feed only 3s so you dont have the low end clogging and be fully waterproof! myself with my new project im going non sensored 3000kv 13t brushless with a 2 speed emaxx trans should be a deadly combo!!
