I'm new to the hobby . . well, returning after an 8 yr vacation.  This time I've decided to go electric with a Losi mini for each family member (myself, my wife, my 13 yr old son, and my 9 yr old daughter).
I've got a pretty good handle on most of the mechanical stuff; it's the electronics that have got me a bit confused, specifically the batteries.  I currently have the stock battery and stock charger for each car, but I have ordered a single peak charger (pn# LOSB1206).  I also have a 1600 mAh LiPo (pn# LOSB9830), but I didn't realize that I would need a different charger for it; luckily I figured that out before I plugged it in   So, I just ordered a Losi LiPo charger (pn# LOSB9633) . . .  ???  Still with me?
So, my biggest question is how long am I supposed to charge the stock 1100 mAh battery with the stock charger in between run times?  I have not been able to find an answer in any of my manuals.  Thanks for any help.

Typically wall chargers take 4 hours. Id suggest getting a new peak charger that charges 4 at once.  And be done in abiut an hour give or take.

Thank you for the advice.  I really like the idea of charging four batteries at once!  Only problem is that I am having trouble finding a charger that will do that.  :-\  Any ideas?

    Thanks again,

Your local hobby shop will prob have a few of these. But these are some of what u should look into. Also upgrading to lipo battery's will give u longer run time and more life out of your motor.

Unfortunately, we no longer have a "local" hobby chop in Roseburg  :'(
I have a 1600 mAh LiPo that I purchased, but I didn't realize at the time that I would need a different charger, so I haven't even charged the thing yet  :(  I can't wait though!  I just ordered a Losi LiPo charger though, so next week maybe I can finally give it a run.
Thanks a lot for all your help.  It is appreciated.

Alot of guys here have alot of knowledge.  So dont hesitate to ask any questions.
Also why cant you charge your battery? Is it that your connectors dont match. If so, sodering is super easy. They have the irons at wal mart. Not sure about the soder. But its cheap and easy.

Wow!  That site does have some great deals on chargers.

Because it's a LiPo battery, I read somewhere that I need a LiPo compatible charger.  Otherwise, my new peak charger is working great for my NiCd batteries!  I ordered one for the LiPo though.  :)
