As promised, here's a couple scenes from the footage of my first flights with this gimbal. Overall I'm really impressed with it, but not so much my flying skills. Most of the abrupt jerks in the video are a combination of the wind and my poor flying ability. (I'm used to fixed wing). Recorded with the GPH3 in wide angle, the landing gear and front arms show. I chose this for my sample video so you guys could see how much the F450 is moving around and what the gimbal does to compensate. The arms/gear don't show in medium angle but it seems like I lose a TON of area. Please feel free to ask questions.
Wow! Looks to me like it worked really well. Being able to see the frame really does give you an appreciation for what it's doing. ...Tiger
Have you attached your gimbal to your car? I saw a YouTube video where a guy attached his Tarot to his motorcycle helmet and it worked very well.
I've thought about doing that, but haven't yet. I too saw that motorcycle video.. Pretty neat! Here's how the scenes look post edit. I threw some music behind it for dramatic effect. The final video will be timed scenes to music.
The Music.... LOL was waiting for something to jump out... But yeah thanks for the video of the Gimbal it does work really well looks like. Now I know to get one of these, thats if I ever get into a hex copter
Ha! That's the second time somebody has said that. I'm working on another version with different music....... but it might make you want to stab the nearest teenager!
