So i got a quick question for u crawler guys!! Is it better to have a high turn motor or low?? I have been watching some "rc adventure" video's and it looks to me there running a lower turn motor for some extra speed! Right now i have a 55t motor and was thinking of maybe going down to a 30t motor or something like that! any suggestions??

Highland crawler would know best, but I think the crawler guys run higher turn motors like 55 turn and up.

I would agree. Higher turn is a lower gear ratio. Right.? My drifter has a 8 t brushless. And just the slightest throttle makes it spin out easy. But thats what it needs.

I run a 19 turn in my scx10 with 3s lipo.  In scaler's u want that extra wheel speed because there not as graceful as a comp crawler and don't need as much fineness.  Plus they a way more fun when you can do some hill climes with them.

Adam is right, I run a 17 turn triple on three to four S packs myself and also have a hot swapable 35 turn motor for those times when finesse is needed.

I went with Highlandcrawler and a bunch of other guys to a place in Gold Hill just off the I5 freeway, I think it was exit 43, that was really cool.  You exit the freeway and go over to the other side and turn right to a bridge and just under it are some great rocks for crawling.

Here is a video of one of those meet ups:
