I looked up the Yokomo Drift car you mentioned and it is very much like a Team Associated TC4. The Yokomo drift package MAX looks interesting with the layuot for latitudal battery mount and mid-motor.
You know what? I think the Team Associated TC4 Club Racer chassis is a great platform for drifting and on-road racing. You can get them for a real good price and parts are easy to find at several local hobby shops. Plus there are TONS of aftermarket parts available. I don't know what Sleadd's is asking, but A Main Hobbies sells them for $149.99. The only thing that might be nice was a transverse battery mount, but that would only be better for drifting, for on-road racing the layout is just great out of the box.
I know i will get one i think. Sleadds only wants 150. Its the same platform as my driftstar. But better all around. Mine isn't as solid as it use to be. Its lost its smoothness. Lol
well im getting my scaler here soon then after that my difrstar is going to my kid and im getting that club racer that sledds have to go with my knightrider theme body its ganna be sick im ganna start the build thread after xmas im still waiting on a few parts!!!
