Hey, could someone explain to me the reason/benefits/use for sensored/sensorless brushless motors? Those of you that know me, know that I am mainly a plane guy. Just ordered me first car and really I am overwhelmed by the number of options available. My car is a 1/16 E-Revo VXL. I got that one because I am familiar with the Velineon system (I have one in my as yet unfinished sandrail). I also have a Spektrum DX3S radio with SR3300T Rx. This system has built-in telemetry. Is the sensored motor necessary for my telemetry to work? Really need some input, because with cars I truly am a noob. Thanks
Thanks Wood. A lot of good info in that article (lots of big words too!) I think I got the gist of it though. Seems like the sensored motors are the better way to go. I'll have to keep that in mind when looking to upgrade...
Your welcome But to be honest all I read was the first paragraph. This gave ALL the info I needed to know it expressed what I knew on the subject ... {hehe} just said better than I could have done so {LOL}
